Edward Condon is President and CEO of Calyx Capital Advisors and is responsible for the overall management of the firm. He is focused on risk management, trade execution, and client relationships.
Ed's background in the financial services industry covers 35 years in Chicago, London, and New York, where he learned about economics, finance, and risk in some of the most exciting and volatile markets in the world.
Ed spent the first 11 years of his career in Chicago participating in the founding years of the financial futures industry as a trader and broker at the CBOT & CME. He moved with his family to London in 1993 to head up JP Morgan's team at the London Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), and later as Managing Director of Credit Suisse’s European Listed Derivatives operation.
Ed holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in International Business from Loyola University Chicago. Within the financial industry, Ed holds the FINRA series 17, 24 and 65 qualifications, and is a Registered Investment Advisor in the states of NY, NJ, and VA.
Ed is a past member of the, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, The London Financial Futures Exchange, and EUREX.
Ed arrived back in the US in 2008, and lives in Franklin Lakes, NJ with his wife, Margaret and two of their six children. Four older children are married with seven grandchildren. Ed and Margaret are active in their parish as catechists in the Catholic Church.
Branson Hamilton is a Managing Director of Calyx Capital Advisors, LLC where he oversees investment strategies and client portfolios.
Branson brings to Calyx management and executive responsibility with industry-leading corporations in creating and leading capital investment programs. His roles have spanned operational management, product development, marketing, business strategy and executive management with Proctor and Gamble, AT&T and Cable & Wireless. He also provided consulting support in capital investments and operational improvements to leaders in the financial services, insurance, telecommunication and health care industries.
Branson has been involved in private investment management for over 20 years, including investor relations and business oversight for a highly successful real estate business and investments in several young businesses.
Branson is known for using his analytical ability to turn ideas into investment opportunities, and has a history of developing growth strategies and resolving problems to produce tangible returns.
Branson holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Iowa, a BS in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, with further post-graduate studies in strategy, finance and international business from Babson College and The Wharton School. He lives in Chester, NJ with his wife and two children.
Claudia Rodriguez is an Associate Director of Calyx Capital Advisors. She is responsible for client relationships, technology solutions, and client reporting.
Claudia began her career in London where she earned a BA in Spanish with Management Studies from University College London. Claudia continued her focus on international markets as part of the equity brokerage desk at Ahorro Corporación in Madrid and in London as an Analyst and Trading Assistant at Marquette Partners, a US proprietary trading firm. In 2008, Claudia joined New Finance Capital and Schroder’s Asset Management Group PLC, as part of their Due Diligence team, working with European hedge fund investments.
After 15 years in London, Claudia moved back to the NYC with her family. In New York she spent several years as the Head Broker and Market Analyst with the Private Wealth Management and Broker Dealer Services of Santander International, a team that managed over $2 billion for Spanish and Latin American clients. She has qualified for FINRA licenses 7, 63 and 55 for NY and NJ. Claudia has developed Portfolio Management clients from Argentina, Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Spain.
She currently lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband Israel and their two little boys, Israel and Oliver. Claudia and Israel are active in the missionary efforts of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens.
Philip Clements founded Calyx Capital Advisors, LLC. in 2008 and was intimately involved in the firm until his untimely death in 2015.
During his career, Phil served as the Global Leader of PriceWaterhouseCoopers's (PwC) Corporate Value Consulting practice and the Coopers & Lybrand U.S. Corporate Finance Practice.
He served on the U.S. boards of Coopers & Lybrand, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the global board of PwC., and a member of the Finance Committee.
Following retirement as an Executive Vice President from Standard & Poor's in 2004, Phil founded Cathedral Consulting Group, a sibling company of Calyx.
Philip Clements was the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Business at The King's College, New York City and Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University. He held a LL.M. from New York University School of Law, a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound School of Law, a M.T.S. from the Reformed Theological Seminary, and a B.A. from the University of Puget Sound.
Phil is survived his wife Julia, their three married daughters, and his grandchildren.
